Would Jesus (did he exist?) love all people regardless of religion and sexuality?

Or are these supposedly sins, to be Lgbt and have worship other religions, any evidence to back your view?

I will give my view on the subject when you inevitably bump this thread for no reason in a few months.

Sort yourself out. Offended over bump posts from a stranger

    Bit sad really.

Given that the Bible states he demanded his enemies and those that didn't want to worship him be brought before him and slain, I'm going to say 'no'.

I think he'd be on Gaydar complete with pics of his parts.

Would look quite hipster too, with that beard.

That doesn't actually make any sense in English

'Love be they neighbour as thyself' is one quote from the bible.

He, if he existed, wouldn't love people who repeat threads.

I'm not sure what you think there is to be offended by.

Constantly bumping your own threads is a bit sad, tbh.

On the offchance you'll be permanently banned and therefore unable to bump this thread, I might as well give my opinion now: Yes.

    I hope that was enlightening.

He did exist - there are a number of sources which correlate events in his life As for evidence that is likely to be difficult - there were societies that not only allowed gay relationships but actively encouraged them (the Spartan Military for example).

I think you might find it difficult to find evidence he liked gay people - there is only one instance in the bible of him losing his temper was with the money lenders and throughout the bible - the principle source for his life - he preached love for all without exception.

I'll give it some thought and give a full reply in June when you bump the thread, or perhaps I'll wait until the next round of bumps following that, probably around December.

Christianity and Judaism were dominant in the 7th centuary middle east. It's no surprise that the admirable but limp wristed philosophy of Jesus has completely lost against the hyper aggressive and expansionist teachings of Mohammed in that region.

I love all people too, unless they give me reason to think otherwise. However, me loving a stranger has about the same effect as Jesus loving the same person, which is of course none at all.

Whenever you donate to charity, you love a stranger.
