Give Lucinda an even break.

I am fed up of seeing one person after another bully Lucinda. It's no way to manage someone and get the best out of them. Those women have gone for her like a bunch of Exocet missiles and they should be ashamed of themselves.

mind you, she doesn't help herself being so whiny - really, could none of them work out how to use a basic software package like that? where do these people work????
What I would love is for them to gang up on her (which they probably will) when she is project manager and cause the team to lose. Then they will march into the boardroom thinking that she is toast and Sir Alan will sack the lot of them for being unmanageable and having no respect for her.
I hop Lucinda rises to the challenge when she is team leader and proves all those bitches and bullies wrong!!
That would make a change from tonight's scenario with Simon and the horrible Claire.
Totally
I can't help but like her even though she has been pretty underwhelming so far. I hope she gets a chance to shine next week.
He was definitely a sad disappointment tonight. Claire should have gone.
Lucinda might not be the sharpest pencil in the box, but no one deserves to be treated as she has.
Yeah, i dont think she is the best candidate by a long stretch, but hey its not me they are gonna be working for so i hope she manages to stay for a long time. At least longer than the nasty pieces of work sticking the knife into her!!
I agree. I'm glad Lucinda stood up for herself as well tonight. Helene is awful, and I think she set up Lucinda on purpose, appointing her to a task she wasn't going to do well in, so she could use her as a scapegoat if the team failed.
I'm a bit puzzled by this as she does seem to be the common target. Firstly if you look at her, you can pretty much ascertain that she is:
- Not a team player
- Not a grafter
- Not proactive
- Has little initiative
- Is not a leader
Therefore on conclusion I don't understand what she's doing on the show! Perhaps her presence has some use though, as certain women seem to have sussed her weaknesses, and have tried to exploit it and run her down.
In doing so, they've exposed themselves as bullies and not worthy of managing a portfolio. In reality, the bullies, nor Lucinda have a cat in hell's chance of being hired.
All this is certainly true from what we have seen so far. What she actually is able to achieve when she is secure and comfortable and working with a supportive and creative team is something we can only guess at. I wouldn't hire her either on her present showing but I'd like to see her have the chance to show what she can do without the sharks circling. To have to go back to the house with them too.........
Though Lindi and Sara are the only woman from this series that I would lust after, Lucinda is to me the most likeable. But I wouldn't trust her to wipe my bottom and I think she'll be a terrible PM .
... let alone your investment portfolio....:D
You bet she will. Her team will make sure of that. Can you imagine her trying to manage Jenny Claire and Helene?
...for security purposes, that's where I keep it...:p
I must admit I have found myself wondering how she got to the final 14 out of 20,000 or whatever it is !
That said, some of the others have ruthlessly tried to make her a scapegoat:mad: Jenny was an out and out bully the other week and tonight Helene was just shouting to try and cover up her own failure in delegating a task to someone who clearly didnt have the technical noust to do it:rolleyes:. I guess she was blustering because, as we later found out, SHE didnt know how to do it either  Bitch !
But that's the point isn't it? Proving how good you are by managing difficulties - and unfortunately that includes team player-haters.:(
I'd be so rubbish at business............I really would.
....:D (I'm sure it wouldn't be safe even there for some of the candidates )
Do what I do, cut out having to manage teams and sell on the internet!
