I feel a bit gutted now. I wish I had been able to buy some Birmingham tickets. My seats at Murrayfield are in the upper tier, so i will have to get some cheap opera glasses to see anything.

Depends. Back row in the blocks at the back of the arena is pretty bad.

I've sat there several times and didn't think it was too bad?

It certainly won't be as bad as a general admission standing spot at Hyde Park

It depends on whether you count not being able to see the artist on stage as not too bad.

I could see the artist on the stage both for P!NK and Katy Perry. I don't think its that bad :p

    Firstly, thanks!

But you are confused, it's Madonna not Richard Simmons .

Each to their own my dear, just like some think it's worth watching a drag king on stage.

Get your ears checked, do any of these sound or look mimed to you?

Vogue Live 2009 - The only "miming" is the hollywood star rap. 3.09-3.40.
    Like a Prayer 100% live 2009

I cannot stand people who "decide" a pop artist mimes their shows before knowing anything about their performance.

I've seen her live twice, she's amazing. She doesn't sing as well as the likes of Gaga/Kylie/Beyonce (all different I know), but she CAN and DOES sing and her performance is AMAZING.

Yes she mimes sometimes but it's NEVER a whole concert, on her Sticky and Sweet Tour she mimed one song (Give It 2 Me) and even then there were shows that she sang it live.

Save your breath. the poster is a lurking Madonna hater and an insecure lil monster jumping on any chance to spill hate on Madonna related threads. As I said I would rather see Madonna miming (not that she does) than a cringy drag king on stage.:)

Lol she does mime, just not as much as people suggest. Her Confessions Tour had a LOT of miming, Re-Invention did too, but Drowned World (2001) and Sticky and Sweet (2008/9) had virtually none. Even on Confessions and Re-Invention the show was mostly live.

You will have a great time. Sound will be far better than at the stadium shows and the view will be great too. Had she announced everything at the same time this would have been my venue of choice

Great seats. I think you'll find the rows start at Row E as well, so you're nearer than you think.

Since when has 53 years old made you a pensioner?

In this day and age 53 is a spring chicken. Madonna can perform and move better than many of her younger contemporaries as well
