  the message is the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package this may indicate a problem with this package the error code is 2503 so I cannot install itunes and I have tried to install avg and I get the same message

  Thanks for your help but its still not working I was hoping not to have to do the dreaded reinstall of windows
