Agree with Degsy - the maple version is pretty meh. Luckily I got the £15 offer in Tescos.
Mind my brother in law really liked it - so I left it at his place:D
I picked up a bottle last week in Asda for £15. Really like it, my favourite of the 'alternative' flavours over the last few years.
I poured a double last night and it really has a strong apple smell. The taste is a bit calmer.
I mixed it with coke and I was dubious if they would mix well but it really did - for me anyway. It dampens the coke taste and can't really taste it.
Haven't tried it mixed with lemonade and/or ginger beer yet.
I would say Apple is good and refreshing for warm sunny nights.
Red Stag is good for warming you up on a cold night.

I'm not a fan of Red Stag, prefer the Honey for a cold night. Not tried the Devils Cut yet but keen to. I've recently branched out into more expensive American Bourbons like Woodford Reserve but my palate isn't good enough to tell the difference.

Morrisons are selling Red Stag for £16 at the moment.
Jim Beam white is on offer in ASDA for £13.50
Some of the bigger Tesco stores do it.
My local is also stocking Maple and Devil's Cut.
Have you tried the Maple? Interested to see what that's like.
I felt the same with Red Stag.
It's ok. It tastes a little simiar to the Jack Daniels Honey - well, from what I can remember as I haven't had that for a while.
It's my least favourite of the three flavours though.
I really like Red Stag. I wouldn't have a night drinking it but just one to start off or as a night cap is nice.

Unfortunately all the supermarkets have put Red Stag back up to £19+
Jim Beam White for £12
Jim Beam Red Stag/Honey/Maple for £15
