    Yes, I read the article a few hours ago. He's been the CEO for a year now and makes a £550,000 base salary. CEOs tend to make more in bonuses than their base salary and it's likely the actual money he'll pocket per annum will actually be 2-4x that of his base salary, depending on company performance.

    Add to that the money he would have accumulated over his working life so far (you don't jump from branch manager to CEO - so he'd have been on a high paying role for a long time previous). He'd be a multi-millionaire, easily.
