Suddenly, it appears he's out of work. Does anyone feel sorry for him? :o

I was thinking the same. I suspect all those at NOTW will get the chance to stay on with The Sun & The Times but there won't be room for everyone and Dan being discredted as a liar himself so much probably counts him out of being kept on in highlight of what has taken place this week.

NOTW is printing its last edition this weekend with all proceeds going to to charity.

Are you kidding? WOW never thought they'd do that! Good to hear a charity will benefit from this.

I expect the Sun will end up being published 7 days a week before the end of the year with the same old NotW hacks (and hackers) in their old jobs.

They can't have the name Sunday Sun though. There's a Newcastle Upon Tyne newspaper which only exclusively sells in the North East with that exact title

Nope, the man is dribbling all over BBC journalists - they gave him a ten minute + interview and my god, it was just like one of his articles - it had no content. The man can blah blah blah for England.

No he just made a giggling arse of himself on BBCNews24

He comes over as being a bit thick.

All about him and his pain not those that the newspaper has caused pain to. Utterly selfish, repulsive human being.

Thought the new name was The Sun on Sunday? But wasn't that what NOTW was anyway?

As for Dan Wootton. He still has his slot on Daybreak which we all know gets millions watching each day!
So I'd say it's going can shaped for Wootton....

Only the Name News of the World is no more. The infrastructure that created and maintained is still there and working hard to limit the damage that recent stories have caused. They havent gone they are just changing their appearence:mad:

Delighted that the News of the World is gone but I agree with others. It's only a matter of time before the exact same newspaper is on sale again with a new name ;)
