  In the world of pop/rock David Bowie is my favourite male solo artist so for that reason I prefer him to Lady Gaga. However i think they are both fab with many great songs.

  Yes of course. Bowie's achievments are admirable but just don't compare to GaGa's. She eclipsed him a while back and she's still only just getting going. Being a lowly addict got in the way of his success, GaGa won't make that mistake.

  :rolleyes:Gaga/ Bowie are from a different generation. Bowie is a living legend - We'll see about Gaga in time. I think she takes a lot of ideas from different artists (Bowie being one of them) and merges them into the artist known as Gaga. I don't think her sound comes close to Bowies! So no, Gaga is not better than Bowie.
