    This type of liar politics can work if the perpetrator is in the used car business, "sorry no returns".

    But in actual politics saying you are going to do something and then actually not doing it is a huge mistake.

    Both David Cameron and George Osborne are now severely damaged politically.

    If its already paid all the tax it's due why would it pay more under the 'Google Tax'?

    They were never destined to pay anything via google tax, for one thing, and assuming c4 exposes are accurate, diverted profits tax only kicks in when diverting outside the EU. Another thing is their able to negotiate the definition of profit with HMRC.

    Sadly, the google tax is a con. Likewise the 130 million figure.
