Cheryl Cole released one of my top 10 favourite songs of 2012 with Under the Sun. This is my fave solo single of hers, but I might still prefer Biology, which she sang as part of Girls Aloud.

So Cheryl tweeted yesterday that she is going to take some time off to relax but will be back soon and now The Mirror are running a story that she is planning on taking six months off.

Presumably when she does come back it will be with a completely new album.
unfortunately, it seems that will be the case. i couldn't have cared less when the label give up on `messy little raindrops`, but i am disappointed in the mismanagement of her last album campaign. if they were going to only release two singles, then why was `under the sun` selected.:o
anyway, she deserves her break and i wish her well with whatever she decides to do next. good luck, cheryl.:)

Yeah it is a shame, they should have still went ahead with Screw You imo.
Yeah, selfishly I want her to continue but it has been obvious for a while now she wants to step back and just take time with her family, hopefully the break will do her good and she will come back feeling ambitious again.

perhaps, but i think her ambitions lie elsewhere for now and i think her main priorities could possibly be away from the limelight. after what happened with ashley, i just think she wants her happy ever after. personally, above anything else, i just want her to be happy, because she`s worth it.
I miss her, this break is going to be so long. The only thing she's doing is promoting L'Oreal from time to time but other than that she doesn't seem to have any interest in the limelight.

I love this thread Its nice to see that Digital Spy isn't just filled with horrible bullies. Some of the comments I've seen on Cheryl are really horrendous and all just because of the vocal ability. I went to see her in Birmingham last year in October and her vocal ability was more than adequate. She is a brilliant entertainer. I just think there's something about her that's just lovely and she adores her fans! I'm surprised certain individuals have not been on this thread to comment on "tweedy" yet. Not naming any names of course...
