I'm watching Daily Mail style, enjoying the outrage. :D She's become almost a self-parody.

Wow - that must be difficult!!

Substitute wafers for buns and no mustard, ketchup or onions please.

I watched an episode of Nigella Bites (the best Nigella show) earlier and the curly haired woman was on that as well, it's always nice to know they aren't actors.

As for her being a self parody, I actually think she's toned it down this time, compared to Kitchen and Express.

The first Nigella show I ever saw was the Christmas special last year. I was convinced it was a parody :D love her though, didn't know this was on, will have to i-player it. Ice cream burger sounds fantastic!

Well, Maria McErlane was also there, and she's an actor... :p

No :) How can it be wrong to appreciate beauty.

I think that Nigella is, stunning but that some of the recipes are a bit er...awful. Im expecting to see next - some basil " carelessly torn", chucked on some chips doused with Marsala and a salami hot dog with pistachio and green olive ice cream bunged in it.

I think that the director missed some opportunities eg Nigella in the sun, licking an ice cream that's dripping onto her chest. Then there's pre marinating with Nigella massaging oil and herbs into a bit of beef. I'm not enamoured of Nigella but I think she should be a little less inhibited. Or maybe that's because I'm Welsh. :D

Well I'm a woman and I think Nigella is gorgeous, voluptuous, a goddess. I wish I could eat like her and look so good.

You gotta love Nigella. One thing that bugs me about these television chefs though... how do they keep their kitchens so tidy whilst cooking? Mine gradually disappears underneath a pile of utensils :D

She's lost a really lot of weight, from what I can see. Suits her.

She looks better than when she was younger and thinner, I think.

She was on The One Show earlier, Matt Allwright was on because Matt Baker was ill. She was telling how she worked as a chambermaid in Italy when young so Allwright asked a stupid question about what she wore as a chambermaid. Both Nigella and Alex Jones looked surprised at him asking such a question but Nigella brushed it off, some guests might have taken it differently.

Never particularly liked him but even less now.

Haven't seen this yet but caught the repeat of last weeks. Going to try the mizza and the pasta sauce/pesto thing she did.

@going gaga Don't know about this week but last week I thought her kitchen looked a bit of mess, herbs and bowls and spoons everywhere at one point. much less tidy than Ramsay's

Friends pointed out to me that Nigella has a new face on this series, so I decided to take a look to see if I agree with them.

    They are indeed correct.

This series is a bit lacklustre.

I think we're bored of the 'food porn' angle, so she's dropped it.
Soon we'll be bored of seeing the Boden clan being fed too.

I agree. Its a bit tired looking. I think people have moved on from all that arty farty cooking in arty farty kitchens. It has a very noughties look about it.

The worst one for that was in a Paris Kitchen with someone whos name escapes me .In a teeny tiny kitchen and she dressed like someones old aunt ?

Say what you like about her, those chips cooked in cold oil were excellent.
