Xtra factor

I don't think she's terrible but Sarah Jayne seems a bit out of her depth. It probably would have been better to have had a duo as they have in the past, to create a bit more chemistry.

There's so much dead air and silence. I don't think it's SJC, I think it's more the production of the show in general.

Yeah you're probably right- I have no idea what's going on with it this year, it's seems very rough around the edges all round.

it was better when the judges use to go to the separate room upstairs

Yeah I don't dislike her, I just think it might have worked a bit better with the dynamic of two presenters. I would prefer it anyway.

For a Duo presenting team to work IMO they need bags & Bags of chemistry so glad they went back to 1 presenter. It's her second live show maybe she'll improve

It's her second, actually. Her first was last night.

I think it's her. She's just not that good of a presenter. She can't banter well with the judges or... anyone, really. I miss Flack and Murs.

The show is just poor in general. By the end of the night, the judges clearly are not in the mood, and all these stupid skits don't help.

It's uncomfortable to watch and not in a Konnie Huq way.

What's happening? I'm watching it, and wow... The awkward silences. It's making for a really uncomfortable watch. Did anyone hear Cheryl ask Mel 'Are we on? Are we live?'. The production is horrific :(

I haven't seen such bad presenting since Samantha Fox and Mick Fleetwood did the Brit awards back in 89

Sarah-Jane scares the hell out me.....think it is that huge mouth and the slightly mad eyes.
    She seems a sweetheart though.

I was thinking the same thing, hasn't been this bad since Connie presented it. There is no chemistry or banter with any of the judges when she is doing the interviews and the phone conversations are just so awkward & uncomfortable to watch. She seems to have confidence but something is not working.

Really bad presenter I was expecting tumbleweed to roll across the stage in those awkward silences when she was talking to the judges. Bring back murs and flack

Random question... Why is the 14 year old not allowed on Xtra Factor?

Is it a TV rule people of a certain age are not allowed on TV after a certain time? And if so why? He's not that young.

Yeah pretty sure there's rules around children 'working' and appearing on tv and how many hours they can do.

Children in the UK can work part-time from 13, but I think there's some sort of other law relating to television/stage which applies until 16.
