My Mum has updated her library on her computer.

Now she wants to put a couple of videos from my laptop onto her ipod.

Can she do that without deleting her library?

Thanks!

Might not be understanding your question but can't you transfer the videos to your Mum's computer? That way you'd prevent any confusion caused by having an iPod synching with two computers (which is equally possible - just make sure you tell it to update only the files you select, not the whole library) and save time messing about.

No we have no device that can do that. So if it only updates the files I select, the music from Mums computer can stay?

There's a fairly clear explanation from Google answers here (it refers to Macs but the principle's the same for PCs) but I can't honestly say whether it works the same with a video because my iPod doesn't do videos.

Copy the files onto your ipod using it as a hard drive.
Then copy them onto the PC then import them into itunes library
