is this true Vicky Entwistle is leaving and if so when and why?

She left for a short time after being axed by the old producer but now she's back to stay I think.

She was axed thats why she departed earlier in the year but new prducer Steve Frost saved her and she has now returned full time

There's an extra bit of mag in this weeks Inside Soap and it's all about Corrie and there is an interview with Steve Frost and this is what he says about Janice

Vicky Entwistle returned as Janice Battersby because I think she's such a credible northern voice - Janice embodies Coronation Street's Manchester roots.

What do you think of this?

I'd be inclined to agree. I've encountered many women like her (well, the old Janice). I didn't like what they did with the character, but hopefully Steve Frost will tone her down and bring her back to the lovable character she was.

I have to admit, that before she left, that week, it was really the old Janice coming back. We saw another side to her, and it was brilliantly scripted and acted. I just hope that we see that side of her more frequently, like we did in the old days.

Tony Wood really picked on her when he axed her by turning the factory girls against her. Them not going on strike and supporting her was very cruel I felt and a cop out by the producer.
