  I use the ipad app. Just tried to open it & it told me my session had expired & flipped up an error message. I'm just off to Twitter to see what's being said

  It's probably just down. I cant get in via my app, but can barely browse on my laptop. Keeps crashing.

  Just checked on Twitter & loads of rumours flying around that eBay has been hacked, but nothing concrete as yet...
  
  No hacker(s) taking the glory for it so I'd guess at the moment that it's a technical glitch

  I don't think it's been hacked.
  I'd been checking eBay through the app on iPhone all day and they've been changing the interface. They've probably just bodged something whilst changing things.

  It's been acting weird all day. I can still get onto the main page, but I get an error message when I try to go to 'My Account', and this morning it would let me on to my 'Selling' page.

  It told me my password is incorrect when I know it isn't. I clicked the link to change the password and it asked me for my email address. It told me that email address isn't registered on ebay. I have been trading for 10 years!

  Facebook gone now too by looks of it, there have been mumours around that attacks were going to happen on ebay, facebook, twitter and youtube.

  I am signed in to eBay and can view items, facebook is messing up though.
