River will be stepping into the era of the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) for Doctor Who: Doom Coalition 2, alongside Liv Chenka (Nicola Walker) and Helen Sinclair (Hattie Morahan). But how can River help her husband if, in this incarnation, she must never actually meet him?
Of course the quote from David Richardson implies there will be a meet. But who knows.
Have not listened to audio's before, but this would tempt me.
Still holding out hope for an screen return as well though. As such I like the fact that these audio's at least prove she is still willing and able to reprise the role should they ask her to do it in the main show.

Plus what was the fight about ? mentioned in 8.6 Caretaker ?.Most couples argue about petty domestic things. Couldn't imagine 11 and River doing that.
Still things that could be used as a story. 12 might one day really need her help.
