Is Youtube or google broken, DS charging for links these days?
You'd think there was heavy lifting involved.

The OP never asked for YouTube links or provided them in their posts and I'm on my phone so it takes twice as long to provide links but just to make you happy here are the links to the adverts I mentioned

Terry's Chocolate Orange. The woman thinks she's hidden it from her husband but he moves the book case and it swings open, revealing a tunnel a la Indiana Jones :D

I loved the scotch tape ads with the skeleton. 'Re-record, not fade away, re-record not fade away':D

How about the Coca-cola ad from the late 80s 'Tomorrows people' or whatever? it was apparently filmed in Liverpool. Does anyone else recall this? or were you in it

Bran Flakes - They're tasty, tasty, very very tasty

    Loved that one, in particular.

Others l recall from the 80s, are:

Weetabix, with the skinhead weetabixes: 'Okay?'
Britvic, with the singimg barmen: 'But me name's Kevin!'
Chewits, with the Godzilla-like giant monster.
Lenny Henry, Square Crisps: 'It's weird!' (,remember him seeming to grow as he waked across the room, so he has to crawl out of the door)
Do It All: with the rock and roll song, 'How do Do It All do it?'
That one with the mime artist from kids' show Jigsaw advertising camera film (,before digital cameras, kids). I found it funny when he looked at a picture of big women's boobs in a bikini, then you saw him shield his eyes with both hands, his face painted bright red!

Who was the actress in the Heineken ad?

    Wasn't she someone famous later?

The Kit Kat ad with the crap New Romantic group auditioning for the music company boss. "You can't sing, you cant play and you look awful." Sly grin. "You'll go a long way."

Also the Apple Mac ad that was inspired by George Orwell's 1984 and directed by Ridley Scott. I remember that was a big deal at the time.

The main ones I remember are

Birds Eye Potato Waffles (waffely versatile!)

Um Bongo (they drink it in the Congo)

Coco Pops (so choclatey they turn the milk brown - I was never sure this was a good thing tbh)

    Gold Blend

    Cadburys Flake

    "fried onion rings"

You'll have to wait and see!
'The Morris Ital, styled by Jagaro of Italy.' It's just a Marina with a plastic radiator grill stuck on it......and Bickerton bikes featuring a nun in a hurry and her folding bicycle, seemed a bit niche marketing consequently it wasn't just the bike that folded.

Not sure if it was the 80's or 90's but I loved the Heinz adverts that featured Ladysmith Black Mambazo. They were wonderful.
