1. BBC3 Given a Reprieve.. It has been announced that BBC3 is to stay on air as a normal TV channel until early 2016. The BBC Trust is now not expected to report back until June 2015. The original “hope” was the BBc Trust may report by the end of April, but the situation will now be put on hold, and a decision will be taken after Christmas.
2. ] RTE 1 HD is now available on Saorsat. It has replaced RTE1 SD, which now is found on Sky Digital and UPC cable. There is no known date for this channel on Sky as yet.
3. Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) abandons plans to launch four DTT commercial multiplexes on Saorview in the Republic.

2. Ofcom have now awarded the “Digital 2” national DAB licence and more
3. MuxCo have announced their latest roll-out of DAB Digital Radio multiplexes. North Yorkshire launches 17 December 2014 and Lincknshire is expected in 2015.
4. RTE Extends Longwve 252 Service but German broadcasters are closing medium wave transmitters . There will also be NO stations from Germany on Longwave after 31 December 2014.

1. BBC3 Given a Reprieve.. It has been announced that BBC3 is to stay on air as a normal TV channel until early 2016. The BBC Trust is now not expected to report back until June 2015. The original “hope” was the BBc Trust may report by the end of April, but the situation will now be put on hold, and a decision will be taken after Christmas.
2. ] RTE 1 HD is now available on Saorsat. It has replaced RTE1 SD, which now is found on Sky Digital and UPC cable. There is no known date for this channel on Sky as yet.
3. Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) abandons plans to launch four DTT commercial multiplexes on Saorview in the Republic.

Didn't know they were getting a new look.
I have seen the same on N2YO sat tracking website, I'm surprised that they haven't done this before and that 2A and 2C are still at 28.2° East, especially as 2G is at 27.98°East and could be closer if 2A and 2C were out of the way.
Interesting to see what's it's like, probably a HUGE dog like SPIKE has!!!

Usually i couldn't give a damn about on-screen channel logos but Spike and BT Sport are the worst for me!

I wonder why 4-6 didn't get labels? I know they won't be put on the EPG but having labels makes them easier to find in 'other channels', defining them from a test stream.
'BBC RB 1' has now moved to Sky EPG 981.

Unfortunately RB4-6 are off the EPG but do exist and of course tuneable as other channels. They couldn't get the SD slots apparently!
They should have just launched 5 HD red button channels or maybe even 6 if they had let the FEC out a little more over a UK beam. They could even reduce the FEC on one or two of their main DVB-S tps and find space for an SD red button or two there.
