Never knew he was dead. So sad.

My thoughts are with his family.

It was 23 years ago. I imagine they're over it.

I would imagine the hurt "is less".

I'm suprised, I always thought he did Starlight Express in the late eighties (I would have sworn I saw him in it), I must be mistaken.

Edit: actually if he died in 87 then that still could be true actually

Is he now genuinely up for rent then?

I wonder if he actually now does go around playing supernatural pranks on people from beyond the grave, as he use to only pretend to do before on TV when playing the part of Claypole! :D

I think most of the cast are dead now anyway-none of em were spring chickens back in the day.

He played the part of 'CB the Red Caboose'.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a red "breaking news" banner at the top of the DS forum pages.

There would have been if DS had existed 23 years ago.

Probably, though contacting him could be tricky.

Why? It isn't the anniversary of his death. So why post a thread now?

I suspect the OP may have been in a Trappist monastery for the last twenty years or so, or else he's been doing a Rip Van Winkle.

And I believe the old Queen's dead too (by which I don't mean either Freddie Mercury or Quentin Crisp).

Mr Meaker aka Edward Brayshaw died in 1990 and I think Mrs Meaker aka Ann Emery is still alive
