So does this mean that when say ITV Tyne Tees goes HD that we will have ITV HD on channel 103 on Sky or am I wrong?, what channel is ITV HD on for those of you in London, North West[Granada] etc.

    Not yet no.
Everyone on an ITV region currently has the SD versions on 103

I think that sadly we will only get 'our' ITV HD region at 103 on sky when all English ITV HD regions are in HD.

    The 8 are

    London
    Meridian SE
    Central West
    Granada
    Scottish West
    Ulster TV
    Wales
    Anglia East

The next two will be Yorkshire West and Tyne Tees but no date is known.

Ah I see I didnt realise you wer counting Scottish West and Ulster TV as these dont actually bear the name 'ITV'.
So we actually have 10 but two arent actually running yet.

Yes that is correct. The two "other" Granadas are for Yorkshire West and Tyne Tees - but we don't know which way round yet. They will carry on for now listed as "Showing ITV Granada" until this changes.

Ah I would say that the most likely ones to launch first in the future are:

    ITV Border England HD
    ITV Westcountry West HD

most of the others are sub regions except ITV Channel Islands so they will likely launch later.

You forgot Westcountry South West (the former Westward/TSW) as well.

I would imagine you are right but we will have to wait on that and see what happens.

Yes, you are quite right - there are four ITV Westcountry Sub Regions, all yet to launch

When I was in the Westcountry area back in 2002 I did notice that there were four Westcountry Regions
when I was watching TV through analogue terrestrial TV, why I don't know, it was in the former Carlton TV era

I think those four Westcountry sub regions to which you refer no longer exist. When ITV was rejigged the old West (formerly paired with Wales) and Westcountry regions were paired together and now just exist as two sub regions, both operating from Bristol I believe? There is now just Westcountry West (the old HTV West if you like) and Westcountry South West (the old Westcountry/TSW/Westward).

There are two channels on 10.832 H but we don't know yet what they are - I don't think there is anything there yet. I will keep an eye on it.

And yes the old Westcountry 4 sub-regions were North (Barnstaple), East (Exeter), West (Truro) and South (Plymouth). It was always Plymouth that was on satellite and yes Bristol produces both news bulletins now for both regions.

Keep It Country TV have confirmed on their Facebook page that they will be moving from Sky 261 to the music section in the next few weeks. Channel number hasn't been confirmed as yet.

They have also confirmed that they will launch on FreeSat channel 516 shortly.

They also claim they are launching on Freeview in April

    That's a bit silly, why not have '5 STAR' & '5 STAR+1'?

It would be nice to have Anglia East in HD due to such poor picture when watching the local news.

You've probably not got long to wait. If you tune this in now you will see it now but for the EPG a date is not yet known.

    Reminder it is on 11.097 V SR 23000 FEC 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK, label 21010

Only when/if EPG data appears I think we can safely assume it'll launch in due course.
