neighbours. What's the matter with Nate?

Seems a great interesting character. He is playing it like a skittish cat with Trust issues.

Also not that it matters but do Karl and Susan know he's gay?

    I think it's that he's 88.257 % wood.

I think he should be given a chance, the trouble is because he has to play evasive with people, that makes it sound like hes not exactly comfortble acting and wooden but lets see how he is when he can relax a bit and start acting normally.

Looking at Freckle's ex boyfriends this could be a good thing.
Aiden, nice nurse guy, goes out with Chris, supplies drugs to his friend and goes off the rails.
Hudson, nice swimming guy, meets Chris, end up mowing someone down who has a problem with one of Chris's friends.
Will, nurse Guy, seems nice, goes to pot when he meets Chris's mate's dog!

At least Nate is a bit nutty going in so it can't be Freckle's fault this time.

I'll spoiler tag it, just in case.
Nate was in the army and has just completed a tour of Afghanistan. He's suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Amazing that super doc Karl hasn't diagnosed and treated it already. He's an expert on every single little thing and has now added vocal cord nodes to his repertoire so he's obviously a genius.

I think he's got post traumatic stress disorder.

Besides the fact that he can't act for s**t. What's said above i think is 100% right.

And he also has time to pen a raunchy novel. Is there no end to this man's talents :D?

No doubt walking therapy center and general busybody Sonya will be called in to sort him out with some sympathetic sighs and a vegan vegie juice.

Oh and don't forget he can counsel people now like he's done with Paul. Despite him never doing that before! Roll eyes.

What's with the list, Not a serial killer is he?

Be kinda fun if he was a serial killer.

But no. I think it's a list of his army mates, and he's crossing off the ones who have died.

Yeah I would have preferred the serial killer route.

He seems to be rather wooden and awkward, but I get the impression that it is the character himself who is wooden and awkward, rather than the actor.

He's badly written and there is zero chemistry between him and Chris. This character was introduced far too quickly - within hours Chris was madly in love and he was everyone's best mate! Not realistic, especially for such a miserable so-and-so!

I watched a backstage video and the actor who plays Nate is very different. Saskia (Georgia) also jokes about how Karl is not a throat specialist :D

Haha, love it! :D I think he's giving Matt a run for his money. Brad is turning into Pinocchio....getting more wooden by the day, and Terese has him on strings.

Too true! You never know, Chris may have the opposite effect on him and turn him into a decent guy! :)
