Brazilian blow dry. as you know, I am not very familiar with all this modern stuff eg waxing.
I always get the name wrong, usually thinking of it as Jamaican (not sure why), or sometimes Bermuda (cos of the triangle I suppose). But I thought a Brazilian involved personal waxing or shaving. But in that case why would blow drying be necessary.

The subject has cropped () up on a groupon email offering a discount. There is also a special offer on a postural consultation. That sounds a bit dodgy too.

Looks like our Engelbert wont be the oldest after all. Or perhaps the girl-band just went overboard with the free "hospitality":D

    Thanks for that, very informative.
But it lasts only 4 months. My Italian chemicals were half the price and have lasted 18 months or more.

So what does the word "Brazilian" signify in these hair issues?

I think on ladygardens Brazilian is a Mohican and Hollywood is bald, so i cant see any connection unless perhaps the chemicals are from Brazil, or it somehow causes nasty side effects down below. :D Did your Italian chemicals straighten too?

o yes, the similarity was that you couldn't wash it for 4 days. But it completely got rid of the frizz. It isn't supposed to last for ever but it has so far. It doesn't stop gentle wave or curl but that is good.

See, that's what I mean. Why is it a brazilian rather than any other country's? Are the Brazilians famous for their lawns? I thought of all the S American countries it was Argentina who played polo?

My only criticism is that the diction is a bit lousy.

Actually "Brazilian" is the style of the bikini, which is very brief, hence the waxing of anything that might hang out.

Have done the research. It is either because it was invented in a Manhattan salon run by the Brazilian sisters or from an explorer's description of the pubic areas he saw when he arrived in Brazil in 1500 AD. Mind you, people in the middle east have been doing it the longest. Well another query bites the dust.
