How long has the news they were bringing in more McQueens been out there too?
It's been a few months. And if Porsche was always one of the characters they were planning to bring in, it means they must have known Jen was going to leave for awhile.

I agree the carbon copies are a terrible idea not only will they instantly be highly unpopular due to their roles but they'll never be anywhere as good as the originals. Was the sight of some basic creativity really that frightening BK?

Mercedes is now played by Porsche
Carmel is now played by Celine
Tina is now played by unnamed brainbox sister Michaela is now played by Theresa
Michaela is a completely different character to Theresa.
We know nothing about the brainbox sister yet, she may have a completely different personality to Tina. Tina was quiet, but not all brainboxes are.
I did think Celine was a Carmel replacement, but she's "nobody's fool". Seems more of a Lynsey replacement.
Phoebe is a lot kinder than Jacqui. Not many similarities there either.
And apparently Porsche won't cheat, so she's different to Mercedes already. To me, she seems more of a Mitzeee replacement with a touch of Merceds.
