Why are the unions keeping quiet about this? There hasn't been a mention of this from them.

    Possibly because that story is from June 2006. Which is a full five years ago.

    They were keeping quiet because their puppet Government were in power at the time. ;):p

    Unfortunately, NHS privatisation is a taboo subject so Governments of any colour dare not even open up a review of the best delivery mechanism. As such, we are stuck with the current system.

    I'm not saying privatisation is the answer but because of the taboo, politicians can't even discuss the matter.
