Alright, it's a contentious thread title and it'll probably be a contentious thread, but there must be songs or acts that you really hope don't make it past the semi-final stage and this is the place to list them. You can add any of the Big 5 you want to even if it's just pissing in the wind as far as they are concerned.......list the 10 songs you want to flush (in no particular order).......me first:)

I could only pick out 8, I don't really hate any of the others. Heavily skewed towards the East as you can see.

I think this is a good year and I found it hard to choose ten- I don't think Latvia or San Marino are that bad, just a bit dull. I'll probably change my mind over the coming weeks as I hated Belgium's song to start with and it's now in my top ten

Apart from the top one (which I've not yet managed to get through since it won) none of these are intolerable and for some it's the singer rather than the song which is the problem.
Switzerland - Unimaginably dull.
Austria - I hate smaltzy stuff, and this is channeling Cyprus 2004 far too much for my liking.
Iceland - For not picking the right song.
Turkey - For sending a poor song from a genre I don't much care for.
Greece - Rap interlude. Not for me.
Moldova - I still haven't liked a Moldovan entry
Belgium - I'm not an AcaFella.
Portugal - Throwing away all of your good work from the last few years. Europe won't care about the "statement" this is supposedly making.

Ukraine - I expect a LOT more from Ukraine.

Finland - Sickening lyrics and annoying singing voice. It really gets my dander up
France - I'm quite an opera fan and this is just a poor unmelodic song grafted onto Bolero (totally unoriginal) with a really ugly bit mid song. Kudos to them for trying something different though at least
