MayDay removed from iPlayer early?

I was happily watching MayDay on iPlayer however today I noticed all the episodes have been pulled and are no longer available. This is despte them having lots of time remaining last time I checked the "Available to" date. Indeed the last episode was only broadcast last Thursday.

I wonder why the BBC have removed these earlier than the advertised removal time?

Edit: Ah it seems the expiry times must have been incorrect on the iPlayer. I notice that they have even made an FAQ about the issue so I musn't have been the only one confused!

When I checked earlier in the week it said that they would be available until 9.59pm on thursday 14th, but I do frequently find that programmes get removed earlier than they are supposed to be on the iplayer.
