Hated series 3 nd stopped watchig but picked it up months later and watched it and enjoyed the latter half of the series. Will tune in to watch the new season cosidering its meant to be a bit of a reboot. Is it back in March?

Considering that BBC America have part funded this new series, I doubt that BBC UK would want to put it up against Doctor Who, its all about Ratings.

I didn't mean it'd be on at the same time, I don't think ITV would be daft enough to put Primeval up against DW.

Must be January. The DVD release for Series 4 has been confirmed as 21 Feb 2011.

Series 4 is slated for January.

Primeval clashed with Dr Who on just one occasion with Easter special Planet of the Dead going up against the third episode of Primeval's third series.....in which Nick was killed off - unsuprisingly Primeval lost over 50% of its regular audience share that week (although I must say that the episode of Primeval was better than the episode of DW)

I thought the deal was, that ITV showed S4 first (with Watch repeating it after), then Watch showed S5 first.

Yes I've just found out that is the case. Which is better for me as I don't have Watch so will be able to acquire it by other means if S4 is any good.

Trying to work out how long Abi and Connor have been trapped from how they look. Her hair has grown a lot faster than his beard though.

The two of them have been trapped for a year. Abby has fared better in this time and is more resourceful than Connor, and when they return they lose their jobs at the ARC. To make matters worse, a Spinosaurus follows them through an anomaly into the present. This is just episode 1, cannot wait for the other 6 of this series!
