    Thanks for your reply - so you have actually bought these on the link and worn them - that is a good recommendation. Did you purchase them from the exact same link?

    Are they one size? I take a size 5 in a shoe.

    You might want to spend more on your dad :p, but I got some in B&M at the weekend £3.99 and they are fab. Size M, L, and XL.

    I have had different makes over the years. I started with get a grip ones from QVC and they were great. One did come off my shoe when I was walking in fresh snow but I realised backtracked and found it. Then I went and got some yaktrax but I don't feel as confident in them as the others. I have a spare pair of cheap ones too so I can have a paid at work just in case I get caught out by the weather and a couple of pairs at home. I find the thicker the sole on by boots the tighter they are harder they are to put on and I do keep checking now that they are not slipping off.
