yes,, not only new bigger aerials, they also claimed new cable was needed,new connections, and some cases a new TV
they made a killing from the elderly, dame shame...

the people down the road from us, some time ago (1 year approx) had a new high-gain "digital" aerial installed on top quite a high pole. Some weeks ago it was blown down by the wind. It had been attached with only one simple bracket.
...Today as i went along the road I saw an aerial installer outside, and they put up a new, but very similar high-gain "digital" aerial, and......attached it with an identical single small bracket. Looks like a nice little return job ongoing to me. New aerial + install every year.
