LG 50pc55

Have a 50in Plasma TV and it has become quite difficult to switch on. It keeps going back to stand by. Is anyone else having the same problem or had previous experience with LG televisions.
If not can anyone recommend a reasonable repair service in the Glasgow area

    Pretty sure this is the same model TV my son has, they have had it a few years now, TV has been problem free.

    I have an LG TV and a couple of times it's become unresponsive, the only way to bring it back to life is to pull the mains lead.

    Have you tried powering it down from the mains?

    At a guess I'd say it's a faulty power board.

    Yes have tried all that, it used to only take a minute to go on. It is getting worse and needs to be switched about 5 times now. Thanks anyway
