    Olivia cant do acceptance speeches.

You'd think she's have enough practice by now.

What did Ant & Dec win? Was out having a ****.

Also my husband is about the only person not to see Broadchurch!

    A BAFTA I think.

Cavalli, I've never missed a single episode of BB but I bet I can beat you - I even had LF (when it was on) on in the background when I was at home or supposed to be going to sleep...lol

Me too, lived and breathed it from beginning to end!

No wonder we don't know half of these shows :D

I think there are times winners are just decided on name alone. THere was so much hype surrounding Olivia since last year that it was almost a given she would win so long as she appeared in something this year, if not let's just nominate her for Broadchurch again even though it was like February last year when it was on tele.

WTF has Sheridan done to her hair?!

I'm guessing she's being paid to have it like that?

Just googled it - season 2 (and maybe 1?) was on 5USA in 2011. I can't have been aware of it at the time I suppose. I wonder why they didn't continue broadcasting it? Surprising that it was nominated for a BAFTA considering it hasn't been on recently.

obviously the telly bosses dont buy these shows because no-one on this thread would watch first class telly.>:(:p

bb finished this year on netflix so must have been included because of that

American TV series are just overwhelming - the number of episodes per series (unless it's an HBO show- a lot of them only seem to have about 10-12 eps per series) and the way you hear about a new show seemingly every week you've never heard of but the trailers say something like "It's the show everyone's talking about!" or "The hottest new show to come out of the states!" If you would even try to keep track of just a fraction of American TV series you would end up with sore eyes and brain rot. God knows how so many people watch and enjoy so many of them without fail.

I did try to follow Hostages (a 15-parter) recently but that kinda all went to hell and I also kept forgetting when it was on after the 5th or 6th week. Same with Under the Dome. Now I'm watching Fargo which is easy to slip into because I've seen the film so many times and it's only 10 episodes-long so far.
