manual tuning sony kdl 32w706b

getting some channels from the wrong transmitter on a sony kdl32w706b
I have auto tuned with the aerial out and then run a manual tune,but the channels default back to the wrong transmitter.
The manual I have is hopeless.obviously the settings arent being stored.
Anybody out there have any experience of this sony set?

    Are you sure that you are using the correct UHF channel numbers for the transmitter you want to use?

    When you've auto-tuned it will give you the option to select the region/transmitter you want, are you not doing that?.
