    There is a young girl who is apparently better than him. It was in the papers a while back and Simon is raving about her. He thinks she could be the next Katherine Jenkins.

    I think we saw her briefly at the start, but if they want her to do well we won't see her until nearer the live shows.

    He was good but they overdid the sob story and they have continued to plug the sob story on other ITV shows, and he is going to be on the Lunchtime News.

    I don't really mind the sob story with him, normally it's really annoying and puts me off an act no matter how talented they may be. With him it's seems different, maybe cos he is just a kid.
