Katie did well tonight. She certainly deserves to pick up some floating voters and stay out of the bottom 2 for once. And thats not easy for me to say - I lost Aiden to her last week and I still think that was wrong, but she showed what she can do tonight so good on her.

If she stays, she should be able to build on that. It says a lot I think that Cheryl let her choose her own song.

I agree Cheryl was right to let Katie choose her song this week. She seemed more natural in her performance than on recent Saturdays, although her Sunday performances have been consistently good.

I thought Katie was best on the night. She deserves to stay over some of the others based on her performance and I'm hoping that the bookies (and my own prediction in the Elimination Leaderboard thread) are wrong.

It may be that some of the latest trash in the tabloids will actually win her some sympathy votes, as well. Enough is enough.

he didn't say anything about double so assuming its one :)

Also, regarding her hair- everyone kept sayin she needs to do her roots so she dyes her hair and yet i see people are complaining- people on here will never like her regardless :(

And that caller on xtra factor for horrid- good for Louis trying to stick up for Katie

Really glad she stayed again, and at last she didn't have to go through the sing off.

I just watched the Xtra Factor from Saturday night,,, listened to the vile caller regarding Katie.

    Louie absolutely owned that caller.

"Its because of people like you who don't give her a chance, and should judge on her singing"

Am so glad the judges are wiseing up to certain X Factor fans.

I love Katie, I know it is unlikely she will win but she has done really well to get so far with all the pressure on her.

Katie's performance was classic on Saturday. I think on 5th Dec she'll get eliminated though because she's not getting public support.

I liked Katie's friendly and gracious response to finally losing the X Factor vote. Although Mary is good and Wagner's presence was entertaining, I feel no need to watch this series of X Factor now that Katie and TreyC have gone. The other remaining performers (apart from Mary) do not interest me.

Gutted that Katie has gone, but not surprising since most of the voters are anti-female/Katie

But honestly, she didn't have the best of weeks with the two songs, just gutted she was the act with the least votes (again not surprising, considering the demographic of the voters)

Go Katie, cannot wait for your first official release, you will smash it.

You were a threat after last week, thats why your second song was carved up and Simon made the comments he did. You werent going to be allowed to get anywhere near the perfect Syco finalists.

Now, breathe a sigh of relief, re-group and keep the dignity you have shown us all tonight.

I don't understand how so many people get to hate Katie. She did nothing wrong.

X-Factor had a true, honest and very interesting artist, but people manage to get her out, and they are happy for that. It's just unbelievable.

Yeah it is a shame, but unfortunately women in particular, don't like seeing other successful women.

Anyone see her on Lorraine this morning? Thought she was great, took the questions well, and overall came across as a great girl, just a shame some can't get past the blatant jealousy of her.

Katie is coming across so well in her exit interviews today :)

As she was out first yesterday, does anyone know if she will still get to do all the gigs, or does Wagner do them?
