Stop thinking X Factor manipulates as much as you think. Everyone's so sceptical nowadays. I'm in no ways naive and think they have some influence on the order the acts perform at the beginning, but they can't just decide then and there to change the whole set up of the show.

Mary was definitely ahead of Cher in the votes, otherwise Dannii wouldn't have voted for Cher. They'd let it go to deadlock and then let the public vote Mary off.
That didn't happen, so Minogue was given orders. And I doubt she'll return next series.

The average viewer realised long ago and switched off leaving delusional viewers who still think this resembles some semblance of a reality TV show.
I personally enjoy just looking in here now and again and read the weekly clamour, I haven't watched this rubbish for about four series now!
