    That would be very good news for the start of the Olympic Games : it would be pretty depressing if the first few days (including the Opening Ceremony) took place in cold weather and torrential rain.

    what a waste of money. i could tell them all about the physical processes in the excited region. Almost a lifetime's study in fact. Not just theoretical, but hands on, also

    Gotta be the dullest first half of July, ever recorded. Not just by a bit, but by a country mile. Edinburgh only recorded 1.6 hours of Sun ~ IN JULY !!!

    Even the worst Summers have been better than this, so far. Never has the dullness and wetness been quite so sustained.

    Actually, I think it might become very nice. Just fine, dry and warm, without being absurdly hot.
