lol totally figures, how else would a talentless nobody like her be able to have become an X-Factor judge?

    Nail on the head.

I wonder if Louis Walsh was hired under similar circumstances? :D

(Not that I believe a word of this)

In case you did not know:

Dannii is a pop star had many top 10 hits
    Model
    Tv presenter
    Child star
    actress
    fashion designer
    Song writer

ah, I believe these are traits you would want in judge = experience.

    :rolleyes:Peoples stupidity.

Hey, Cheryl may not be the best singer but she does have experience in the field too.

'She was foxy. She was a real man's girl. Very feminine.'

That comment there from Simon doesn't look like a gay man pretending to be straight in any way whatsoever at all.

I'm sure that he would probably also describe her as being totally fabulous, just like any other red blooded straight man in the UK would.

Same with Kelly Brook and Carmen Electra, real talents that have given much to the world, enough to judge others. Perhaps he became too irresistible for Sharon Osbourne and she had to leave the show to escape his manly musk? It must be so exhausting and exciting to be him. Anyway, I'm sure Sinitta will be delighting us with her comments on this soon, what's the betting she knew all about it? ;)

If you don't follow fashion, dance music or celeb gossip, but you happen to have ITV on your TV on a Saturday night there is a good chance you haven't a clue who any of the judges are or if they deserve to judge others. Amanda Holden must have been another he seduced, since most of the country still wonder why she's a judge since she has noticeable talents.

Wow. Sadly, a few comments in this thread prove people buy into this garbage.

It's often more amusing to play their game, with subtle sarcasm added for the ones who know it's a game.

Although I can't speak for all posters. ;)

    This is rather disappointing.

I'm a huge fan of Tom Bower's writing and have read most of his unauthorised biographies. They usually follow a pattern - pick a controversial public figure (Mohammed Al Fayed, Richard Branson, Conrad Black) and inform them that you're writing a warts-and-all bio on them; would they like to contribute? They typically say no, try to block the book, but TB goes ahead anyway and it ends up being a jolly good read.

Apparently when he approached Simon, he agreed to cooperate with the bio by giving Tom Bower "honest" interviews and an insight into his life (he probably had him on his hired yatch at some point).

Thsi means the so-called unauthorised bio we get will be effectively authorised and ridiculously watered down, which makes it rather pointless as anyone who's read "Fayed" will attest.
