Ok, now the Vickers rumours have *finally* been put to bed, time to start another one

Look who changed their cover photo today ;)

    Be afraid!

    Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I'm going to live in hope that Vickers is bluffing.

So what happened to the earlier reported "it's a female solo act that the gays will love".

Yeah I can't imagine they'd try and bluff that much.. especially if the payoff was RSF. :/

Still hoping for Paloma.. I keep staring at that gap in her tour dates.

Does anyone have a YouTube link to Despina's performance tonight? (Or any other video link that would play on an iPad)

Otherwise, I'll just wait until tomorrow and watch on the Eurovision website. Would anyone be so kind as to tell me what kind of time she appeared on the stream?

Maybe Taylor Dayne pulled out? ;)

Hey, I only start rumours, don't expect me to know facts :p

She appeared just after 8.30pm, so you're looking at about 1.30.00 on the stream :)

Oh goodness, this video was only loaded 2 weeks ago

I don't dare taint my beloved laptop by looking at official RSF sites to see if they've been busy...

But talking of creepy videos - here's Latvia's Niko from Saturday ... I'd turn the sound down if I were you, but please read the description underneath the video, it's comedy gold! :D

    Oh dear Greece...

Disspointed that it's not Diana representing UK, hoping that it will be Amelia Lily. :D

Me too, but she's on Lets Dance performing on Saturday with no new single to plug so surely that would have been a perfect time to launch the song, not in the middle of march buried in a Radio 2 show, so I have my doubts-Looking like Amelia or Diana is doing a major bluff :p

The Cyprus song has really grown on me too. And I'm sure it will be even better live...

Seems like I missed a good NF tonight (although maye not the songs). I'll catch up tomorrow.

In the meantime are there any Dima links yet? (:o) would also quite like to catch the Top 10 selection! :D

    What happened with Ruslana?

I have to say I'm a fan of the Greek song, can see the similarity with Zdob si Zdub and I love that style. It should do well considering it's Greece.

Can't recall what happened with Ruslana; wasn't really concentrating on it at that point. :o

Rubbish entry for the Greeks. Could this be the year where they fail to qualify?

They've just talked about the plagiarism scandal surrounding the German entry, even played a bit of the song on BBC Breakfast.

I love it when Eurovision gets a random mention on TV. :D

Not a chance amongst all the mediocrity this year.

Dina Garipova for Russia with the song "what if"

    She's their Voice winner

"...composed by two Swedish producers Gabriel Alares, Joakim Bjornberg..."

At what point do we drop all pretense and just call this the Eurovision Swede Contest?

Yet going by this years standards, they can't write a decent song for themselves :p

I can't find official confirmation of this btw - seems plausible though

It's on the eurovision.tv site, not that this counts for anything any more...

Well after yesterday's revelation from Diana Vickers, and Leanne Mitchells denial where do we go now with BBC eurovision rumours? there is still the Pixie Lott idea to get a response out of, but after her... Well I am now beginning to fear a 'WTF' moment like last year. Is Tammy Winette still alive? Is Sandy Shaw prepared to overcome her euorvision bitterness to have another go? Cliff - back for another attempt? Sturggling to think of anyone else. Surely people like Alsion Moyet adn Heather Snmall are too big to do it and surely Dame Shirley too old ! Where do we go from here?

IF the BBC pick someone like Right Said Fred (I notice worryingly the union flag as the background to thier new picure - its them isn't it!!!!!!) the BBC proves it is more about making sure British TV viewers watch ESC rather than any real attempt to win the thing. If an act like this is picked it is a joke on the level of Scooch and not nearly such a good one. If RSF are picked I hope we get nul points - we would deserve it

It's a singular act, most likely a woman with a gay following probably singing a power ballad.

Thank you Fudd!! That is so brilliant, haha. I love his singing and his funny fancy take on every line "Woo!" "Imp-oh-oh-oh-seee-ble" great stuff.

I took a gander at some of the other duets and I LOVED the Helena Paparizou one! The rest were pretty duff though. They reminded me of bad X Factor duets, "Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to my hero.. The legend that is Dima Bilan"

As for Alcohol is Free, catchy and I like it. But I don't love it!

Also, pretty sure it can't be Right Said Fred after Graham stressed on his show that it was a soloist! :)
