The Greens have 2 MEPs against UKIP's 13 and just 0.2% of seats in the House of Commons.

UKIP also has three peers in the House of Lords, while the Greens only have one.

They also are 20 points ahead of the greens in today's opinion poll about the upcoming eu election. The public want ukip. The BBC would be remiss to sideline them in favour of a minor party like the greens.

What is it with the BBC and Ukip???

Have Ukip promised to keep the Licence fee until 2050 if they ever get into power?

Everyday on DP it's Ukip this, Ukip that, the BBC are obsessed with flaming Ukip!

Ok (hands up) I know I must be feeling threatened!

No doubt tonight the "hand picked Left Wing QT audience" will feel theatened when they say what they think of Ukip!

The BBC are obsessed with UKIP I agree - I always enjoy the subtle bias.

Nick Robinson did a piece on the EU yesterday on the BBC news - subtle hints that UKIP voters are racist/vote on gut instinct followed by a nice middle class lady saying she was worried for her kids if Farage got elected and then a we love the EU really don't we bit at the end.

I thought I was watching a Tory party broadcast - not a supposedly impartial BBC piece!:D

UKIP are on again - well that's a suprise. Why don't the leftist BBC invite the Greens on as much.

I mean, they've got MEP's, councillors AND an actual MP.

That's because the Electoral Commission have declared UKIP a "major party" for the European elections so the BBC have to give them equal footing with the other main parties (although this doesn't apply to Scotland only programmes). The Greens weren't declared a major party so they are left with the loonies and assorted nutcases.

England has 85% of the population of the UK. Hardly surprising that there are more programmes from there.

1st question very Leeds based there
All the panel was going to agree with whoever spoke first. it would have saved a lot of time just to ask "Does anyone have anything different to add?"

Conor Burns monopolising his window there. 30secs to answer the actual question. 3 minutes say his own stuff.

"Is it fair to describe UKIP as a racist party?"

Yes, yes it is. Time and time again they come out with the same drivel.

At least the Tories have learned how to keep their racism largely under wraps.

Remember - this is from Yorkshire where they consider Lancashire to be a foreign country.
