It's a hypothetical question and my answer would be a resounding no. Too many macho and butch men turn into whimpering boobies when they have finger ache, they'd never get through the contractions considering that they believe they're dying when they have a sore throat and a bit of snot.

I've been flippant on this thread but your post has hit a nerve, and rightly so. There are times when the father would be a better parent for a child but the courts seem to favour the mother, wrongly in some cases.
Whatever your circumstances, and I sense that you've been wronged, I pray that the law sees sense and looks at both sides more deeply than they seem to do at present.
