I've been waiting for an HD PVR to replace my old Thomson SD one, so I think this will be a Christmas present to myself, after a reasonable period of bug finding and fixing has elapsed.
I have read all I can find, but haven't seen any mention of DLNA functionality or other apps like Netflix or Lovefilm. Might be worth the money if it does everything!
DLNA is not part of the YouView spec. have a look at the spec. HERE You will also find it very difficult (if not impossible) to extract files to play on a P.C. add custom Firmware etc. the list of things it won't be able to do out weighs and advantages that it may have

Humax Box to be at retailers by the end of the month with a cost of £299.
Can only really see the box attracting those with older non-HD PVR that are needing replacement. The linear program guide is convenient.
Wonder if it will support the other iptv channels like Vision on 110
