Is there anything that Petrie Hosken isn't outraged by? Simply dreadful show today.

Has everybody died, and I am the last one here?! Been quiet since mid-afternoon.

Don't you think your 48 hr non-stop hospital radio tribute to Mrs T. was a little over the top? Much of it sourced LBC's coverage. Was this paid for? I understand many patients are now traumatised and a few are no more!

Many thanks Martin. So the O'Brien's are not just champagne socialists, they are now bullion traders! Surely this is rather hypocritical of them? Spare cash indeed...

I believe they are both self employed.

That may mean that when they do their end of the year accounts they invest anything that is left over as part of a pension plan for the future. They will not be able to pay into a company/public service pension.

    Just a thought.

Can we not mention Mark Thatcher's Mum?
He is worried that LBC won't offer him a job to continue her memory.NF is trying to continue next week with another tribute to her.

NF could probably see the start from his gaff but I bet that's as near to it as he got.

Yes she is does lay it on a bit thick : faux outrage does seem to be her perma modus operandi .

Well yes it does seem to be some sort of investment in all likelihood .Presumably the Socialism for Dummies was again brought out as reference ,especially after Mr OB 's previous Landlording venture was discovered to be a definite faux pas .

I'm just pleased they ditched the bloke who said "even if you've been told you haven't enough bone" in that faux cutesy voice that marketing people think we find friendly and approachable.

AND that scots actor who said Dawood and Tanner went to a "whole new level of experrrrrrrrrrrteeeeeeese" as if they'd given him brain surgery.

    Awful.

Which is a shame, because I have always liked James Cosmo, he was always Hollywood's "go to" guy, for the archetypal savage Scott, e.g., Braveheart, Highlander and Game of Thrones.

I notice that Global Radio have been accused (on Twitter) of not paying any UK Corporation Tax for five years.

Do keep up! You obviously don't read 'your' thread - it's been discussed on there. ;)

Are you keeping up with the saga of Steve's teeth? :D

    Morning all. :)

He's having a new bridge made, which I think is a bigger job than a crown. I bet it's costing a fair bit!

So, is he toothless at the moment and are there any pics?

I think he's had his old bridge temporarily re-attached. I suppose you have to concede that he's not vain. Can you imagine anybody else even admitting that they haven't got their own teeth.

She's extremely irritating to listen too, that's why I don't!
I am not a misogynist (yes, I am) but most of the female presenters on LBC et..al are irritating including J. H-B. and the lady who presents late on Sunday afternoons when I am cooking, at about 5pm,

It's a dreary news day; very little that hasn't been discussed on previous occasions. I don't anticipate much of interest throughout the day. I may resort to music - or silence!

I'm not a misogynist either (well, I wouldn't be, would I?) but I much prefer listening to male presenters. Well, some male presenters. I'm not sure why. I just find them easier to listen to.

I rather like two presenters, a woman and a man. There's hardly any radio programmes (anywhere) using a two-presenter format. And yes of course I can cite the occasions where this does happen:D Wonder why this fell out of favour?
