    Burglary - 2
    ASB - 3
    Robbery - 0
    Vehicle crime - 1
    Violent crime - 0
    Other - 1

Not too bad, seeing as my once small village has grown to the size of a small town in recent years.

    Burglary - 108
    Anti-social stuff - 450
    Robbery - 39
    Vehicle crime - 95
    Violent crime - 149
    Other crime - 314

Doesn't surprise me as my postcode covers the tube station and the overland. It's where the drug dealers come in.

Oh the joy of living in a crime-free village. I have lived here over 40 years and have never known of any crime.

In my estate- 3 vehicle crime (some idiot likes smashing windows) and 2 'other' crime, whatever that is....weird.

Oddly the rough estate across the road has nothing.

My part of heavily built-up suburbia (2 miles across): 14 violent crimes and none in nearby streets
Central Portsmouth (2 miles across) 232 violent crimes.

Glad I don't live there (which isn't too far away)!

Doesn't this almost turn it into a game, with updates on twitter?

It is quite insightful though I guess, like a modern version of neighbourhood watch.

No real point in knowing that if we don't know what town you're talking about.

    Complete load of rubbish,
I live on a private development, and we have no crime here at all, yet that site shows 34 crimes for December, 17 of them are anti-social behaviour.
We are a retirement community:p:p, have my neighbours been running amok on their mobility scooters??

Apparently there are a few anomolies around. For example, in some locations where there is a police call centre, some crime reports get recorded as being there because, for some reason, the real location has not been revealed by a member of the public ringing in on a mobile phone.
