Hey, I am going to Gran Canaria in about 20 days and was wondering where the best place on the highstreet to exchange my pounds to euros? I'm not very good with exchange rates.. :D

You get a better rate online normally. You can order it online and have it delivered, all depends on what type of debit card you have etc.

When I went, I tried Thomas Cook, Post Office and Co-Op. Co-Op was best, Post Office worst. 300 Pounds got me 345 Euros at the Co-Op and 333 at the Post Office.

Co-Op was also comparable to the online ones for the ammount I wanted to change.

Marks & Spencer are usually pretty good.....Post Office usually bad.

Or you oculd just use a cash point when you get there

Had no idea Co-Op did money exchange! Might have to try there or M&S. Thank you :)
