I'm getting something similar on my ipad too. Only it keeps redirecting me to apps in the App Store like Candy Crush Saga etc, rather than to porn sites! It only happens in some forums, like in Showbiz and Gaming it has happened.
We're very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. We've passed this on to our ad team who are looking into this as a matter of urgency but are finding it very difficult to reproduce.
If possible, could anyone that encounters this issue again screenshot the offending redirect and either email the screenshot to forum [at] digitalspy.co.uk or upload the picture to an image uploading website and post the link here.
Also it would be incredibly helpful to know if those experiencing this are only experiencing this when using handhelds (mobiles, iPads) or if it has happened on desktops also. Thanks!
Saturday, my daughter logged onto a friends wifi on her ipad mini, and at some time during the evening I was browsing the general discussion forum on DS.
On Sunday morning I was first up (still at friends house) and turned on the ipad and saw immediately the DS page I was looking at and within seconds a web page of 'local slags' was displayed!
I haven't been directed to another webpage, but i was shocked at the advert at the top right last week. I don't know if it was 'local slags' or not, but it rings a bell. It was basically a very well made lady wearing next to nothing. I was suprised DS would allow such adverts on here.
I was on my works PC, and I don't have ad blocker as it mucks around with some company vital websites I use.
The porn thing seems to have stopped (touch wood if you'll excuse the pun :rolleyes:) but I ave annoying ads for cars at the bottom of my screen and they shrink the screen.
As I said before the only problem I had was this advert for women with big butts It was so annoying I got an adblocker because it seemed to pop out over my computer screen and was very distracting. I asked my husband if mine was as big as hers to which he replied NO lol
When I first joined twitter I kept getting weird people trying to add me who looked like porn stars. I soon realized they were porn links so I blocked them. To be honest it really annoys me when things like that happen because if I wanted to view porn (which I have no interest in) I would visit a porn site not a social network site.

Power button and home at the same time does that.
This happened to me on here (and a few other places) last year. The only cure was time, turning off javascript and staying away from DS for a while with the iPad. If it's happening again I'll steer clear once more, alas:(
[highlight]Update:[/highlight] We've heard back from our ad team who are trying to track down the exact cause of this. For those who are experiencing this on their iPad, please can you try to clear the cookies and continue to browse - letting us know if the problem goes away?
