I remember Pogs/Slammers very well, we use to play it at school. Yo-yo's were huge at one point and everyone had to have one. I had a Talkboy from Home Alone 2, sooo cool.

Nickelodeon was my "go to" kids t.v channel so Kenan & Kel, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Doug are forever in my brain. Remember Goosebumps and Are you afraid of the dark ? These were on late-ish and the last two shows before Nickelodeon closed down for the night. The intro to Are you afraid of the dark was really creepy. I also liked watching Clarissa explains it all as I had a crush on Melissa Joan Hart

Am I the only person which remembers Pete & Pete and The
Secret World of Alex Mack ?

Now, Alien "babies", were these the jelly like things which came in an egg ? If so, did you hear the myth that if you put two back to back they had a baby themselves ? I think it was made up due to the fact that the backs on the aliens had a flat rectangle patch.

Good times, wish I was a kid still. :D

Yes that's them. Yeah I actually heard that about them too. I too think the fridge thing was a silly myth, though I did once dissect one of mine with a pair of scissors, and it did in fact contain another baby alien.

You are  ... As long as the list brought you some feelings of nostalgia, and you avoided some of the 80's truly awful fashion disasters such as, shoulder pads, spandex, legwarmers, and frizzy perms. :p ;-)

I was the king of pogs, nobody on my estate could beat me and I had some awesome slammers. My favourite was a chupa chups star shaped metal one.

I was born in 83 but I can only really remember from the early 90s onwards, other than that my parents have told me things I liked or watched in the 80s but I guess im mainly a kid of the 90s(?). I remember most of the things mentioned :) what about Pound Puppies and Finders Keypers? I think thats what they were called? and Oh Penny! or were they from the 80s?.

I used to love The Wuzzles (Disney TV show with characters that had bodies of two different animals or species like Bumblelion), which used to be around from the late 80s to early 90s if I remember right? maybe thats more the 80s as I think it might have been 1989 I got a TV spin off Wuzzles book from a local newsagents - it was either 89, 91 or 92 but my memory is really sketchy about that

    Born in 88. :)

I sort of remember those shows. I was more of a cartoon person. Dexter's Lab was awesome. :D Sister Sister was too girly. :p

I also remember having a tamagotchi. It even survived a few spins in the washing machine after I left it in my trouser pocket.

Oh and I still have my PS1 and games, it works.

I had a Playstation, and those were my three favourite games. I loved Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon and Tekken. I still do, but they don't really make the games anymore.

I watched a few of the cartoons you mentioned, and I love Disney films, but The Lion King is one of my favourites.

I didn't necessarily have, use or watch them all, but I was aware of all of those and remember them well.

I don't know if I qualify or what. I know the whole "90's kids" stuff is a thing on the internet. Tbh, I considered myself a child or a kid up until the age of 16 or 17. I was never one for "don't call me a child, I'm a teen or a young man!".

Born in 1989 so I remember most of the 90s. Whigfield's Saturday Night seemed to be the anthem for most of it.:D

I'm sure by my username you can probably it was all about the SNES and N64 for me.:D I was never a Playstation fan...seems almost heinous given I was a 90s boy.

Got to throw in Pokemon in the list too...from around 1998-2002, it ruled the world. Everybody could name a Pokemon, even if it was only Pikachu.:D Even now I can still name most of the original 151, and pretty much in order too. As for the Demon Headmaster, he terrifies me even now.:o Terrence Hardiman was brilliantly frightening...hugely underrated actor.

Anybody remember Yowies too? They were like Kinder Surprises, only with animals and leaflets about them. I was hooked on them at one point, trying to complete all the toys...until they released another collection. I gave up after that.:o

Great era. I know we all look back on our eras misty eyed, but I really do miss it when I think about it.:(

Stamp markers! My goodness, now there's a memory! I loved those things.

I had completely forgotten about the Easy-Bake Oven, that was amazing.

Arthur and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch are hands down my favourite television programmes from the 90s.
