Looking forward to seeing Rebekah Tiler in the weighlifting, so impressive she's doing this at 15 years old, think she might have a shot at a medal.

Off we go again with Northern Ireland's best chance so far for gold - they are in the final of the men's triple bowls against South Africa.

Looking forward to the squash finals. The mens in particular should be a cracker. I think David could win with one arm tied behind her back.

Aussie decathlete manages to disqualify himself from the first event, the 100 metres, with 2 false starts! He can continue if he wants, I think.

Doesn't that mean his decathlon is practically over? I'm not sure how decathlon points really work. I guess he could make it up in other events but maybe definitely the medal chances are gone?

Did he shout "F***!" as well? :p

Wow what a strop by the Aussie. He made the error, twice and then behaved like a right diva.

He can continue, but obviously he is 800-900 points down.

Wow, how stupid. Dropping a place because of a poor start is infinitely preferable to disqualification.

Yes he is out of the medals.

The canadian Warner should win the decathlon by miles unless he is carrying an inury

Eugh. Athletics off to a bad start already - they've wheeled out that old hag, Tanni GT.

Surely you mean well respected para-Olympian and national treasure ?

    Old hag indeed.

The record of the two players when they've met in finals in the last two years is quite close. David certainly wouldn't win with one hand tied behind her back.

Oh yeah he's a lot better. Then again, he couldn't be much worse than poor Otis. :D
