Robredo is all kinds of awful on grass though

As I say anyhow it's all completely irrelevant, he'll shrivel when the great Spaniard is standing across the net from him on Friday

    Ahem. :p

Wow. Brilliant from Kyrgios, he better not end up losing to Raonic now. One, Kyrgios deserves to go far, and two, Milos Raonic - Wimbledon semifinalist is not a thing I want to see.

This guy is as cool as a cucumber. No reason he can't beat Raonic tomorrow either! Hero

Amazing victory for Kyrgios. His serving was brilliant. A relentless barrage and Nadal couldn't live with it.

Cue another round of talk about Nadal's "decline" before he rocks up at the US hardcourt season as an absolute beast.

Why does Rafa constantly get the big hitters and inspired players. Not saying its a conspiracy but I'm fed up with these guys, big hitters coming out and playing like this against Nadal. Why is it just against him. These guys fold against the others but not him. Its not soar grapes as Nick won fair and square but its disheartening that only against Rafa do these players show up.

Nah he's very different to them. He has the goods to back it up.

Kyrgios definitely has potential to be huge. Seems like a nice guy too. :)

I think she should draft this guy in to help her with her serve. :p

In all seriousness, he'll probably lose to Raonic next.

Who gives a shit though, first GS QF and Rafa's out :p

That's his moment in the sun, he'll be beat in straight sets tomorrow.

The gods are conspiring for Murray again this year.....

However I do feel it should be 1st seed vs 4th seed, 2nd vs 3rd when the draw is made. Always favours the 4th seed and penalises the 3rd seed

Wouldn't mind if Nick went on to win the whole thing, but have a feeling he'll crumble in the next round.

    Dunno he oozes confidence though!

I can't take to the big serve type players, especially when they beat Rafa. And especially when they are cocky too.

He has incredible natural power though.

These posts make it wayyyyyyyy sweeter!! Upsets are great for the game

Three years now Rafa will he ever come back?? :D:D

It's not just Rafa. It happens to all the top players from time to time.

Not on grass. I don't see Rafa winning Wimby ever again.

All the more unbelievable that he had to save 9 match points in the 2nd round - none of this would have happened if he hadn't

Massive day for the sport. Remember Federer beating Sampras at age 19 in the Wimbledon fourth round? Could be a similar seminal moment but even of it's a flash In the pan, Nick has made himself a legend. He, Dimitrov and Raonic in the quarters while Bouchard and Halep are the favourites in the women's now. Finally, is the youth movement kicking off?

On a personal note, I'm so pleased that my least favourite players Nadal and Sharapova are out.

Please. Nick's only 19 and his GS record already craps all over both of theirs. :kitty:
