Sadly I think there will be one great war where pretty much the whole world is involved but the devastation will be so bad from that that we will ever have war again

Will we still have a mighty great empire in 100 years time, and will we also in a hundred years still have our monopoly on the world when it comes to manufacturing and textile making, or will another country, possibly a far eastern country steal our thunder?

What if during the 20th century there is one or more world wars?

Poll: Should the death penalty should be abolished? (More people will vote yes than no).

What will an independent Ireland be like?

Poll: Corporal punishment should be abolished, yes or no. (More people will vote yes than no).

Poll: Are we too harsh on illegal immigrants? (More people will vote yes than no).

In Victorian times, purveyors of food did a naughty thing called adulterating, to boost their stocks without extra cost.

On the other hand it was against the law to over charge for bread and to avoid punishment for making a mistake and not all bead cobs/baps (whatever you call them) weigh the same they bakers gave a extra one to make sure
