After they retire from playing most goalkeepers move into the backroom staff as the goalkeeping coach.

Forgot about Beasant and he was a good goalkeeper at the time.

Thanks again for the replies above

I have had always had a thing for goal keepers . Italy has produced two goal keepers I know who have been captains Buffon (he always looks like he would fit in to a gangster movie) and Dino Zoff who was probably one of the greatest goal keepers ever and did win the World cup. A lot is talked about the Maradonas and Peles but as a goal keeper I would put Zoff in that category.

What about this guy. Lev Yashin, best goal keeper??? I wasn't born then, way too young so I can't really judge but the saves in the clip above are excellent.
